LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil has thrown his full support behind Brooks Koepka, following the five-time major winner’s dramatic return to the PGA Tour.

Speaking at LIV Golf’s 2026 season launch, O’Neil said he “loves” Koepka and holds no grudges, despite the former captain becoming the first high-profile player to leave the breakaway league. He made it clear: he would’ve done exactly the same if he were in the PGA Tour’s position.

Koepka was reinstated earlier this week after paying a financial penalty and is set to tee it up at the Farmers Insurance Open. The PGA Tour’s “Returning Member Program” now offers a similar path back for Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Cameron Smith - but only until February 2.

O’Neil also took aim at the Official World Golf Ranking, questioning the system that still excludes LIV events. He hinted at internal resistance on the OWGR board and voiced support for Trevor Immelman, who chairs it:
“It’s the toughest job in the world… some people on that board don’t have much to gain by us getting points.”

The message from LIV Golf’s CEO is clear: the door is always open, and respect for Koepka hasn’t changed.
