Best walks in North Yorkshire. Sutton Bank National Park, near York - White Horse of Kilburn 8Km Circular Walk taking approximately 2 1/2 Hours
Start at the viewpoint giving the best view in England!
Then cross the road, pass the Yorkshire Glider club, don't forget to duck!
Then carry on along the top of the White Horse at Kilburn and down the stairs to the car park.
Then follow the forest track and bridleway through Kilburn Woods, until you reach the sign pointing down to the field on your right and head through the farm fields
Cross the main road and head towards Lake Gilmore, a beautiful scenic calm expanse of water.
Then its all uphill to head back to the viewpoint to catch the sunset!
