A shocking family dispute from Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh has taken a dramatic new turn nearly ten months after a mother-in-law allegedly eloped with her would-be son-in-law. The man, Rahul, has now accused his mother-in-law, Apna Devi, of running away with her brother-in-law and stealing valuables from his house. In response, Apna Devi approached the police and made serious counter-allegations, claiming Rahul is involved in trafficking girls and kept her locked in a room without basic facilities. She also alleged regular physical abuse. Both sides have filed complaints, and police have begun examining the matter.
