Have you ever wondered why people are still using glue sticks for their print beds?
Here’s the story:
Recently, I was preparing for a lengthy 16-hour print. I’m not a big fan of leaving the printer running overnight, so an idea struck me. What if I could apply a glue stick to the print bed, pause the print, and then cut the power? The print bed would cool down, but the model would stay firmly in place, glued to the bed. The next morning, or after the power was restored, I could simply turn the printer back on. The print head would restore its position and continue the print. So, I decided to put it to the test.
Guess what? The model stayed in place and the print resumed perfectly. It was a simple solution.
