Logic Pro: Pre-Delay - How it can transform your music.

This is the parameter which allows you to produce a gap between a Dry signal and a reverberant one by adding a pause - literally, a ‘delay’ - between the Input signal and the triggered Output Reverb. Chromaverb lets you set Pre-Delay in milliseconds or clocked to the Tempo of your track using a ‘Quantize value’ offset. Having shown you these options, we’re going to get creative, using Step FX as a means by which to emulate the behaviour of Pre-Delay by creating a Gated, chopped Volume shape over-laid on the reverb channel.
