Описание: Jay may be the first rapper to have an extensive background working in psych wards. He spent almost 7 years working with patients coping with various mental health disorders. During his career, he observed how corrupt, unjust and predatory the Mental Health System can be.

In this record Jay reflects on how working in this environment impacted his outlook on life, people, and also his role as an artist. For this music video, Jay faces a psychiatrist in a similar fashion to the patients he once looked after in the ward. A psychiatrist is often the person that decides on a patient’s diagnosis and the medications they take. They also decide when a patient can be released from the psych ward.

Jay witnessed many people struggle with the heavy labels of disorders, often feeling unheard, misdiagnosed and helpless. He also witnessed patients accept medication per the psych doc’s request just to be released sooner from the ward. He decides to take the seat of the patient in this visual and wrestles with the Mental Health System through the fighting style of Hip-Hop.
