Sometimes the world feels heavy. Sometimes it can be tempting to wish for a simpler existence. This video came from one of those moments. Look at the trees and realize how effortlessly still they seem compared to us.
I wrote this as a reminder to myself (and anyone else who needs it) that while intelligence comes with anxiety, doubt, and weight… it also gives us access to something incredibly rare. Meaning. Growth. Creativity. Love. Movement.
Trees don’t worry, but they also don’t laugh, create, dream, or choose a new direction when life gets hard.
This isn’t about minimizing stress or pretending things aren’t difficult. It’s about reframing what it means to be human — and remembering that unlike a tree, we’re not stuck where we were planted.
If your mind feels heavy today, I hope this gives you a moment of stillness… and a little perspective.
