This is The White Stripes fourth show in Texas in three days, as well as their final performance in Texas ever. The band play a great setlist tonight with the second Elephant Tour performance of Jimmy The Exploder. The band play nicely throughout most of the show, but some parts like Offend In Every Way and the transition from Ball to Astro are messy, and this show has a pretty screamy Union Forever. Jack also forgets the lyrics from time to time, most notably in Boll Weevil. Jack also interrupts Apple Blossom to basically introduce the song. But this show isn’t all bad, it starts off with a great back to back combo of Dead Leaves and Black Math, as well as good versions of other songs like Hello Operator, Death Letter, and We’re Going To Be Friends. Overall, a good show, albeit it has some lows from time to time.
