Faith is developed in the storms of life. When Jesus led His disciples into the boat, He also led them straight into a storm. This was not to harm them, but to reveal who He is and to strengthen their faith. Many of us struggle when God seems silent or distant when we go through personal storms, but Mark 4 reminds us that even when Jesus is “asleep,” He’s still fully in control. Our fears do not disqualify us; rather, they reveal areas where our faith needs to grow. Through storms, we can encounter Jesus' power, authority, and love in a fresh way.
