Hello. I am Kwak Jae-bok and I am the director of the Seoul Community Rehabilitation Center. Along with all the team here, I am sincerely delighted to welcome you. 

The Seoul Community Rehabilitation Center was founded by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 1982 and is managed by The Purme Foundation.
Your visit has a special resonance for all our staff.

Our mission statement says we are: ‘a rehabilitation center working toward the realization of an ordinary life'. But how do we define an ‘ordinary life’?
For us, it means happiness and ordinary daily life each person is entitled to enjoy. We believe that everyone, with or without a disability, has the right to live their own life in the place where they are.
Our vision is: ‘A rehabilitation center that practices and supports the Seoul-style welfare model for people with disabilities’.
Based on our accountability as a municipal institution, we seek to focus on individual needs and aspirations to offer a wide variety of services and support. Thus, as our operations motto for 2024, we have chosen the phrase: ‘A happy rehabilitation center that brings change by working together.’ All of us, including the rehabilitation center users, the community, and our staff will work together to achieve this end.
We hope that The Seoul Community Rehabilitation Center's mission, vision, and this year's operations motto strike a chord with you.
