How to Create The Android Face VFX from Predator Badlands

In this VFX tutorial we take a look at how to create the Weyland Yutani Android VFX from Predator Badlands, Alien Earth and Alien Romulus in Fusion Studio or DaVinci Resolve Studio. We combine 3D head tracking with crazy projection mapping techniques with depth map displacements, rotoscoping in 3D space, as well as modelling and animating 3D robot arms, then rendering them natively inside Fusion, with ambient occlusion and depth of field. This is a pretty huge composite, so we're going over it in a breakdown-style.
