This anti–deportation movement is widespread and growing – from women in Hastings who do essential beach work – welcoming those who land here – to the anti-raids groups who are stopping people being rounded up by the UK border agency from Glasgow to Lewisham and Kensal Rise here in London plus big marches in Manchester, Newcastle - where Hassockfield the new women’s detention centre is being run, and in other places - in schools, churches and in communities which we don’t hear about – this is wider and more lively than anything we’ve seen in decades.
The Rwanda plan is aimed at terrorising us all. But we won’t quit till we win.
We say no deportations to Rwanda or anywhere - not for anyone, and we must act on that: target the airlines – expose their complicity – sign the petitions – we must end this by any means necessary.
