A place I had heard about, but never really understood until I decided to go there myself.

The plan was simple. Leave the city, follow the road, and see where it leads. What started as a short trip slowly turned into something more personal. Fewer plans, slower days, and a lot of time to sit with my own thoughts. From highways to rivers, from land to water, this journey asked me to move at a pace I wasn’t used to.

The first part of this trip was all about transition. Hundreds of kilometers away from Kolkata, lunch on the road, and then a boat ride for the first time in my life. One hour on the river, moving at 10km/hour. No rush. No noise. Just water, wind, and the feeling of heading somewhere unknown.

Along the way, I noticed how different life feels when time isn’t chasing you. This place didn’t try to impress me. It just existed. And somewhere in between, I felt myself slowing down too.

This video is about movement. Leaving behind what’s familiar, stepping into something quieter, and letting the journey change you before the destination does.

In the next part, I experience fishing for the first time and learn what it feels like to be completely at the mercy of the sea.
