After joining the M6 at Standish on the way to the Lakes for some fresh air I was quickly aware of a major Bike run. Shades of the past for me and incredible timing. Never would have managed to get there on time had I known, but life often works like this. So although I was in my work van, I pulled my windows down to feel the wind in my face and Buzz from the Awesome noise smell and vibe that comes with a "Wild" bunch of Bikers covering all three lanes, me in the middle, man what a drive. A quick chat with my son and I was in the know. The Hairy Bikers was of course a show I would watch, not only for the odd glimpse of the Bikes but the incredible Humour between Si & Dave. The Cooking and travel was a bonus that I grew to love.
An absolute honour to see Si and Woody up front and the fellowship that went back sixteen miles. My condolences to Dave's wife, family and friends. A Perfect send off for a true National Treasure.
