Dario D’Attis makes his Defected debut giving his own contemporary, uplifting spin on two house staples. Dario’s profile on global house music platforms has been on the rise across the last couple of years, thanks to international festival and club appearances and a close working relationship with Defected, including a guest mix on the label’s inaugural Defected Croatia compilation in 2016. Presenting the ‘Sunshine People EP’ on a melodic summertime tip, Dario references the familiar ‘Sunshine People’ refrain on the title track, along with plenty of bass jackin’ and dancefloor-friendly breaks. . Citing another familiar hook, this time remixing a Sandy Rivera classic, ‘I Can’t Stop’ is the more drum-controlled counterpart, rounding off a very well-executed duo of club-ready bangers from Dario.
