During Christmas concert Sing Nowell! in December 2024, Cantamare Vocal Ensemble performed This endris night by the American composer Sarah Quartel in the Waalse Kerk in The Hague. This december you can hear them once again live on tour in The Netherlands! Of the concert on December 20th a worldwide livestream will also be available. Name of the project? Can you Händel this?
The project will be very special: with the tenors and basses of Chorus Juventus of the famous Vienna Boy's Choir, a cast fully below 30 years old will perform Bach's first cantata from the Weihnachts Oratorium, some parts from the Messiah from Händel and some a cappella pieces - one of them you can hear in this video. Concerts will be in Ede (19 December 19.45h), The Hague (20 December 19.45h) and Amsterdam (21 December 15.00h).
