🧺 Ingredients:
🔸 For Rasam:
Tomato – 2 (chopped)
Tamarind – lemon-size (soaked)
Rasam powder – 2 tsp
Black pepper – ½ tsp (crushed)
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp (crushed)
Garlic – 2 cloves (optional)
Curry leaves – a few
Coriander leaves – for garnish
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Dry red chilli – 1
Hing (asafoetida) – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Water – 3–4 cups
Ghee / oil – 1 tsp
🔸 For Medu Vada:
Urad dal – 1 cup (soaked 5–6 hours)
Green chilli – 1–2 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
Curry leaves – chopped
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – for deep frying
