Exploring Carcassonne, France (Why does nobody come here!?)

Описание: We had never heard of this incredible city before we started looking around the south of France. But WOAH, we are so glad we decided to swing passed and check it out. The medieval city of Carcassonne is honestly one of the best stops we have had so far! and may be the BEST castle in Europe and was certainly a hidden gem of France for us! (Although it seems to be well known to other Europeans! )

The castle is still in incredible condition and it was so interesting to walk around the ramparts and imagine what it would have been like in medieval times.
It also gave us amazing views of the city!

We had such a good day here!
