Novel Synopsis:
On family day at the kindergarten, my husband Sam made an excuse about work, telling me and our daughter Roma not to attend either. Seeing Roma's sad little face, my heart ached, and I decided to take her myself.
As soon as we arrived, I saw Sam holding a little boy in one arm and holding Julia, his childhood friend, by the hand with the other. They looked like a perfect little family, chatting happily together.
It wasn't until he saw me and Roma that Sam frowned slightly and let go of Julia's hand. "Zoe, don't get the wrong idea. Julia's raising her child alone, and today is his fifth birthday. She just wanted him to experience a father's love for once," he said.
