“I Bought a Used Pipe Bender Online… Was It a Mistake?”

Описание: n this video, I take a deep dive into a used pipe bender I picked up online and put it to the test. After unboxing and assembling the bender, I mounted it permanently to the ground using Hilti threaded lug nuts, drilling a 5/8" hole to securely anchor it before any bending started.
Once everything was locked in place, I ran multiple test bends on 1-inch and 1-1/2-inch pipe to see how the machine would actually perform in a real shop setting. I’ll be honest—this pipe bender surpassed my expectations. The bends were smooth, consistent, and far better than I expected from a used tool.
The bender was missing a degree gauge, so I made a custom solution and installed one myself. After some fine-tuning, the gauge worked extremely well and made repeatable bends much easier. I also made a few additional minor modifications to improve usability and overall performance.
