Starship Farragut Music theme 2021 - Conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (kinda)

Описание: Yes this video is a fantasy of editing and wishful thinking.

Indulging myself in a little fantasy of 'what if' Jerry Goldsmith conducted my theme from Starship Farragut: Homecoming. Footage used is actually from the Jerry Goldsmith 'Film masters' DVD which featured a lot of footage from 'The River Wild' scoring sessions. An excellent DVD that I heartily recommend for all fans of Goldsmith.

Jerry is perhaps the BIGGEST influence on my own music and there's more than a few of his flourishes present in my work. So this video is a bit of fantasy on my part .. and features a rather stiring rendition of my reworked theme for the final episode of the Starship Farragut show.

Apologies to the musicians and crew in the L.A. Philharmonic orchestra who were actually performing pieces of 'The River Wild' score .. I hope they don't mind helping a small time composer feel .. just a tiny bit bigger :P

The music heard in this video is all performed with the Vienna Symphonic Library .. a virtual orchestra.
