Problem with Recording Audio. If an Open App is Using WASAPI Exclusive Mode. Change it Shared Mode

Описание: audio recording not working in screen recording on Snipping tool and getting the error message "Problem with recording audio. If an open app is using WASAPI exclusive mode. Change it shared mode" in windows 10/11? You can fix it easily by one of these four methods.

Method 1: go to control panel - hardware and sound - sound - playback - speakers. double click to open your default output device.
here you have to make three changes for the output/speaker.
a- spatial sound = turn it off
b- Go to advanced settings and turn off exclusive mode
c- disable enhancements. click on apply and ok.
Now go to recording devices and open your default recording device. go to advanced and make two changes there
a- Go to advanced settings and turn off exclusive mode
b- disable enhancements. click on apply and ok.

Method 2: Go to snipping tool - click on the gear icon on the top right cornet - settings - scroll down to the bottom and turn on these two
a- include microphone input by default when a screen recording starts
b- include system audio by default when a screen recording starts

Method 3: Go to settings - apps - installed apps - snipping tool - permissions
turn on microphone permission there

method 4: Method 3: Go to settings - apps - installed apps - snipping tool - reset
Reset the app and restart your computer to apply the changes.
