In the summer of ’85, Michael Jordan went to Italy and shattered the basketball universe.
It was supposed to be a friendly exhibition, but ‘friendly’ and ‘exhibition’ were not in MJ’s vocabulary. Late in the game, he threw down a dunk so powerful it broke the backboard and rained glass over his opponents. That legendary moment inspired the original Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ in 2015 and now we’re running it back. Ahead of the shoe's 2025 re-release, the iconic story returns in a whole new way at Teatro di Jordan, the flyest puppet theater around.
