About Thatharana Trek:
Thatharana Trek is in Kharota, Distt Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh and most of peoples don't know about this beautiful trek. Its a 5 km Trek only but slightly tough to complete, generally it will take Appox. 3 hour to climb to top from starting point. Trek start fro

Thatharana Package:
We booked our package for 5 persons including Lunch during trek, Dinner with evening tea and Bonfire, morning breakfast, camping with guide. You can book your package directly by contacting them directly on phone and can get the package cost according to your needs and requirements.

Ways to reach Thatharana Trek:
Thatharana Trek is located in the Dharamshala region of Himachal Pradesh and it starts from Kharota village which is 10 km from Dharamshala Bus Stand.
You must react to Dharamshala first for this trek and then to Kharota village to start trek.

To reach Dharamshala you have three ways-
1. By Air – Dharamshala has its airport Kangra-Gaggal Airport. And from there you can take cab to reach Kharota
2. By Bus- From Delhi, Chandigarh we can easily book bus (Ordinary/Deluxe/Volvo) to reach Dharamshala and from bus stand we can hire a cab to reach Kharota.

Our Journey:
We started our journey late night from Chandigarh and reach Dharamshala approx 9 AM in morning, and from there we reached to Kharota by 10 after breakfast in Dharamshala, We parked our car near to road (Starting point of Trek, you can easily get parking space). We parked our car there and then our guide came to meet us and we started our journey to Thatharana trek at 30th Oct 2021 at 10:30 AM.

When to go to Thatharana Trek-
The best time to go for Thatharana trek would be April to May and from October to November. during this time the possibilities of rain or snow are less and the weather is quite pleasant. Thatharana Trek can be done throughout the year but suggesting you to avoid in rainy seasons and during winters because of snow you can easily miss the treks.

Food and water:
Please carry approx 2 liter water with yourself, whereas you can refill your water in the middle of the trek, but better to get sufficient water with your self. At top water is not available, and if someone is available at top then you can buy water and food from there: Water Rs. 50 per Bottle, food approx Rs. 150 per meal. but if you trek without any package then better to carry your own food with your self

Electricity:
There is no electricity on top, so you should carry a torch, PowerBank to charge you phone/camera etc

Network Coverage at Thatharana Peak:
Only Idea is available on top to connect via phone or SMS, Jio/Airtel/BSNL will not work
