Описание: In this week’s episode, we invited Producer/DJ, Ian Hicks to give a deeper dive into the story and vision of Eko Zu, along with a discussion on the importance of persevering as a musician and following your dreams.

Ian Hicks, aka Eko Zu, is the former FOH Sound Engineer for The Glitch Mob, Big Wild, and The Chainsmokers, touring with these groups from 2014-2019. Drawing from the pioneers he worked with, Eko Zu is now an ever evolving collective of creatives forming a fun, high energy, and deep experience through music. Frequently featuring live performances in his DJ sets, from singers and guitar players, to flow-artists and dancers, Eko Zu brings out a wild and melodic new side of Bass music. Eko Zu represents the inner duality that we all face, on a daily basis— the ever-raging battle between our Eko, or our higher self and sense of purpose....versus our Zu, or our sense of survivalism, the lizard brain our amygdala, the ego holding us back.

In any decision you make, you can ask yourself— is this coming from my Eko, or my Zu?
