"At Universal Studios Florida, from 1990 to 1996, the Ghostbusters set up a franchise opportunity so you could...'Be a Ghostbuster!' You then meet a little guy by the name of Louis Tully, who is not only a CPA, but is also the Junior Assistant Vice President in Charge of Finance for Ghostbusters, Inc.! After a few quick, promotional pre-show experiments, he escorts you along with the rest of the audience into the room where all captured ghosts are stored, the Ectoplasmic Containment Chamber, where the franchise seminar continues..."

This show was considered as one of the most popular of all Universal Studios' attractions. However, it closed November 9th, 1996 to be replaced by the attraction, "Twister...Ride It Out," on May 4, 1998.

Most recently in Universal Studios Florida, the remains of the firehouse which served as the attraction's main entrance (fans of the show may want to sit down for this), now has a giant hole through the "second floor" for the track of the park's newest roller coaster, "Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit," which officially opened August 19, 2009.
