Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development (FCSHD) was honored to host the International Short Inbound Mobility Programme in collaboration with Universitas PGRI Pontianak, Indonesia. This meaningful event brought together students and faculty from across the border, fostering a spirit of regional cooperation, academic excellence, and shared learning.

The program commenced with a high-level Global Classroom, featuring insightful dialogues led by our Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni alongside the Dean Representative of Universitas PGRI, and Forum session participated by 5 students from both FCSHD and universitas PGRI. These sessions provided a vital platform for intellectual exchange, allowing participants to explore diverse perspectives on student development and leadership within the region.

In addition to the academic discussions, the day featured an engaging Knowledge Transfer session focused on environmental sustainability. Participants took part in a hands-on workshop where they learned the innovative process of upcycling used plastic bags into stylish, functional pouch bags. This session not only showcased creative problem-solving but also reinforced our collective commitment to eco-friendly practices.

To conclude the visit, we were delighted to bring our guests to PeTARY (Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Rahman Ya'kub), where they explored our university’s extensive resources and state-of-the-art facilities before their departure. We are incredibly proud of this successful collaboration and look forward to further strengthening our relationship with Universitas PGRI Pontianak in the years to come.
