Sweden Elopement Wedding

A stunning Elopement experience in the Swedish wilderness that was truly unforgettable.

I got to spend an amazing time with Maria & Jan in the stunningly beautiful Tiveden Nationalpark on their 5th wedding anniversary, which they used to renew their vows. With its giant boulders, great hiking trails through the wild forest landscape and deep rift valleys, Tiveden feels like a place of untouched beauty.

We began our adventure the day before their actual Elopement, in the most peaceful little lakeside cottage. The cottage had a cozy attic where Maria & Jan spent the evening nestled together and listening to music on the record player, before hopping into the hot tub on the patio outside. It gave them the perfect chance to slow down before heading out into their adventure.

The next day, after a short hike through the forest in Tiveden Nationalpark, we found the perfect spot for them so share their vows. With no one but the forest as their witness, it was raw, emotional, and completely personal.

After their vows, we spent the rest of the day exploring the park along one of the many hiking trails that go through it, where every step feels like you’re discovering something new.
