What We Did: Mini Discovery Pass = 3 icewine + food pairings at 3 wineries. Perfect for one afternoon that feels like a whole getaway.

Our Picks: • Harbour Estates - best value, 2 pairing choices each • Malivoire - only winery that treated vegans like everyone else (not an afterthought) • Inniskillin - best icewine, plus fire pits at dusk for warming up

What We're Going Back For: • Peller Estates -10Below Icewine Lounge ($45pp) - winery tour + ice room experience, not open to the public • Table Rock's Frozen Falls Icewine Bar ($23pp, Jan 24-25 only) - icewine paired with French onion soup or apple crumble, overlooking frozen Horseshoe Falls. Walk in at 1pm or 3pm and you're tasting with Donald Ziraldo - the pioneer who put Canadian icewine on the map. Actual ice sculptures by Iceculture.
