Those glorious harmonies! The string arrangements are ingenious and the way they interweave through the vocal harmonies is brilliant. These two songs were my favorites from the Mamas and Papas.
These are the original versions intended for release, and this mono mix is the way the producer and artists wanted the song to sound. The stereo versions, which are the only ones still available, are weak in comparison, and were probably thrown together to satisfy the marketing of stereo.
