TESTING UK POURING MEDIUMS THE RESULTS. For someone who has sworn by using GAC800 as a pouring medium for so long, these results were very surprising! I am slowly coming to the conclusion that I will never really settle on one pouring medium for ever, I enjoy the variety of achieving different results, sometimes I don't want cells, other times maybe I do!
If you are a beginner to fluid art, I would recommend you begin with No Nonsense PVA from B&Q or Screw fix. Mix 700ml of PVA with 300ml of water. Then you simply need to mix one part paint with 2 parts pouring medium. Depending on the consistency of your paint to begin with you may need to add more water, you may not. You are looking for the consistency that when you let the paint fall from your spoon it will leave a small mound and quickly disappear.
