🔨 WHAT’S IN THIS VIDEO
This week felt like everything happening at once. Walls finally going vertical, tools deciding they’ve had enough, propane running out at the worst possible moment, and the furnace quitting just as we’re trying to move forward. Off-grid life has a way of stacking the pressure… but it also has a way of showing you what you’re made of.
In between lifting exterior walls with jacks and chasing down heat, we found ourselves back inside the little dry cabin that started it all. The shed Brendon and his uncle turned into my safe haven when I was pregnant with Ander. It’s held us through so much, but with bigger kids, another dog, and dreams stretching past its walls… it’s time to build something that fits who we’re becoming.
This episode is progress and pause. Chaos and laughter. Air drumming, dancing kids, stubborn nailers, and cutting firewood to keep the dream moving. It’s messy. It’s real. And somehow, it’s still ours. Living off-grid is no joke.
