South Australia's Riesling Trail & Pink Salt Lake (Clare Valley Wineries | Bumbunga) 🇦🇺

Описание: One of my favourite activities in any Australian wine region is to hire an e-bike (electric bike) and cycle amongst the wineries, stopping along the way to taste the varietals I love! If you're visiting South Australia, then you simply must put this activity on your itinerary!

The Clare Valley is a perfect place to do this, being relatively compact at 25km long, with around 50 wineries in the region. Red, white or rose: there is something for everyone!

One of the additional reasons we chose to visit Clare Valley, was to see one of Australia's famous pink salt lakes. These salt lakes are scattered around the vast landscape of Australia and often require an 8-9 hour drive to reach. However, Bumbunga Salt Lake is a mere 1.5 hour journey from South Australia's capital city of Adelaide, or 45 minutes drive from Clare Valley. This makes it the perfect union for a holiday: gorgeous scenery and delicious wine!
