After an update to the plant room and my bonsai, I begin to prune the Avatar Grove after a full summer of growth.
My Avatar Grove is a miniature version of an old growth Cedar forest near Port Renfrew in British Columbia, Canada.
The trees used in the forest are Eastern White Cedars of Thuja occidentalis.

Stay tuned after the video for a trip to outer space with some Apollo 11 animation! I created the models from scratch in my spare time and it took about three years to get the models accurate. I compiled the video last year for the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. The renders of the models were used for illustrations in a book.
