Since 1936, residents come together on the second Sunday in July to relive the events that opened the American West to trade and settlement. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wind River Mountains, Pinedale’s dramatization brings together the history of the mountain men, Native American Indians, missionaries, and many others who played a pivotal role during the era.
