A day out on the Mornington Railway, a preservation group that operates heritage trains on a section of the Morning branchline that used to connect to Baxter on the Stony Point Line. Today the line operates between Moorooduc and Mornington (v2.0). Their star locomotive is K163 of 2-8-0 wheel arrangement was built at the VR Newport Workshops in the early 1940's. Two diesels, T411 and W241, also see work as required and on total fire ban days. Many thanks to the Mornington Railway for accomodating me.
