In this quick tyFlow tutorial I'll show you how to pack any 3D object perfectly with spheres using tyFlow's VDB operators.

The "3" model used in this tutorial was created by Rustam Arazov from www.rustcg.com

First, we turn our 3D model inside 3ds max into a VDB (object made of voxels) using tyFlow's VDB operator, then we add the VDB to Particles operator to tell tyFlow we want to pack the object with particles. Lastly, we add a shape operator and set that to a sphere. A material ID operator is added to assign various colors & materials to the spheres. A few Vray lights are added for a simple lighting setup. Lastly, simple color correction is applied in after effects to boost contrast.
