Caesarea National Park includes a large Roman amphitheater and historic port. Haifa-northern Israeli port city built in tiers extending from the Mediterranean up the north slope of Mount Carmel. The Rosh HaNikra grottoes are cavernous tunnels formed by sea action on the soft chalk rock located on the border between Israel and Lebanon. Akko is a port city in Israel known for its well-preserved old city walls from the Ottoman times to the 20th century.
