Описание: In a time of widespread distrust in government and concentration of power in the hands of the rich and the elite, we’re happy to share some good news - government by the people is growing! We’re expanding innovative practices that shift power into the hands of everyday people and throw open the doors of democracy, through processes like Civic Assemblies and Participatory Budgeting. These practices have recently been used to successfully engage ordinary folks in public decision-making across the country - from Los Angeles to Boston to Fort Collins, Colorado. In this joint webinar, Healthy Democracy and the Participatory Budgeting Project share information about their innovative programs and recent success stories from the field.
