An introduction to knowledge work and productivity

Описание: This is an introduction to a new project I'm starting where I think about, explore, and discuss ideas around workflow, process, and productivity as a knowledge worker.

If being an academic is about using information to create value for others, then I don't think that we have systematic processes that we can use to manage that information to better serve the goal of creating value.

I don't think that we have good systems for maintaining our own sanity in the face of an onslaught of requests for our time and attention, which takes the form of meeting requests, email, social media, and professional projects.

I think that we can do better, and this channel is a place for me to think in public about how I'm trying to do better for myself. Maybe you'll find it useful.
