Dalia Universe ♫

Описание: In recent weeks the focus here has been on two cellular automata semi-totalistic neighborhood types that I named "Rosanna" and "Leela", for use on the hexagonal and square cell grids, respectively. Approximately 50 useable rulesets have been found for each of these.

The next focus is on "Dalia", my other favorite semi-totalistic neighborhood type for hexagonal cell grids. With only 15 decent rulesets discovered for Dalia so far, the exploration is just getting started. Here we see one ruleset, out of the billions of possible rulesets.

This automaton uses "totalistic" color-coding of live cells:
Black -- empty/dead cell with 0 live neighbors,
Violet (Lavender Magenta) -- live cell with 0 live neighbors,
Sapphire Blue -- live cell with 1 live neighbor,
Emerald Green -- live cell with 2 live neighbors,
Gold -- live cell with 3 live neighbors,
Copper -- live cell with 4 live neighbors,
Ruby Red -- live cell with 5 live neighbors,
Silver -- live cell with 6 live neighbors.

Cell array size: stays constant at 36 columns x 76 rows.

Time: 286 steps (at 5 frames per second).
