We’re introducing a new way to use Eagle Eyes: Air-Ops Map. See other pilots’ live drone locations alongside CalTopo objects, with on-screen proximity alerts.
Pilots as well as anyone who installs Eagle Eyes Pilot on a separate Android phone or tablet can open the Maps tab and instantly see the location of all drones connected to the same Wi-Fi network, with the Air-Ops map free to download and view on Android devices. These live drone locations are overlaid with your CalTopo map objects and update in real time with near-zero latency. With this feature, each pilot can see other drones in relation to their own drone position, with on-screen proximity alerts whenever another drone comes within a pre-configurable distance.
Running quietly in the background, Eagle Eyes lets you keep flying as you’re accustomed to in DJI Pilot 2 while still showing your drone’s real-time location in the Air-Ops map and of course live tracking your GPS track into CalTopo.
