Archival footage shot by an Italian filmmaker probably in 1933.
It contains stock footage of Nemi ships, 1st century ships built during the Roman emperor Caligula that were recovered from the bottom of the lake of Nemi (30 km from Rome) between 1929 and 1932, and then shown to public outdoor up until 1935, before a museum was created (ship were then burned in 1944, probably by Nazi soldiers before leaving the area): a group of people walking around and over the scaffolding of one of the ships, visitors jumping into a car while a man make the Roman (fascist) salute.
