We decided last minute to take a trip west for Trav's birthday and were pleasantly surprised to arrive in the west country to a beautiful, fresh coating of snow, as we don't yet have a drop of snow at home. Our first stop found us with the stunning Boy Bondi and the rest of his band glowing in the freshly risen sun, cloaked in floating ice crystals from the frigid evening prior. Truly some of the most beautiful footage we've been able to capture, in our opinion of course ;). Bondi and his band were also sharing the valley with two majestic looking bull elk, which was truly a special treat. We took the road far less travelled, for us, on the way home, and came across a band of Grey's that we've never met before. Then, as if he heard us manifesting him, we came across our old friends, and fairly famous locally, Sir Lancelot, and his son Pearce, who we haven't seen for three years. It was lovely to see them, and to know that they're still thriving in their beautiful mountain-scape. A wonderful way to spend a birthday, or any day!
