I found a goldmine of modern farmhouse/ mid century home decor at my thrift store, with high end/name brand items such as West Elm, Pottery Barn, Pier 1, Target, Ashland Home, etc. I also did a "thrift flip" on two of the items by staining the wood and breathing new life into them.
Overall, I spent around $20 for $200 worth of items, and I'm so impressed with my local thrift store! Thrifting is a great hobby because it's sustainable, good for the environment because you're creating minimal waste, and you can find aesthetic and modern decor for your home that you will love! Similarly, you can customize items by painting, staining, or adding details that will make each thrifted furniture item your own.
