The aliens poised to invade Earth are highly advanced, so we assume they prefer to settle conflicts via Exceed.
We must find a champion to represent Earth and save all humanity by defeating the aliens in ritual combat.
We don't know which characters their format allows, so our champion needs to be ready to play characters from any season.
To test our heroes and find our champions, allies shall meet as rivals on the field of battle. At the end of many trials, one shall earn the title of... Defender of Earth!
Let the trials to determine the champion of Earth commence!
In Stage I, players are divided into pools. Each player plays two games against each other player in their pool, and the highest-scoring player from each pool advances to Stage II.
