Here's a programme that really means a lot to me - I quite literally did learn to read with Basil Brush all those years ago. I must give an extremely grateful shout out to Scott for providing me with this recording, and the thinking behind uploading it is to see if anyone else has any of this show on video. Please get in touch if you do! Sadly, the beginning of this particular episode is missing, but there must be some full ones out there somewhere. It does seem a pity that such a fondly-remembered show should basically fall off the bottom of the internet...
It appears that, although this particular episode is dated 1982 at the end of the credits, it was actually first broadcast on Thursday, 13th January, 1983.
(Please remember that this is an off-air video recording, so don't go expecting 1080p HD quality. I'm fairly certain that this video isn't commercially available, and I've uploaded it for its historic interest only.
