If you’ve ever watched The Big Bang Theory then you’ll be familiar with the Fast Zoom Effect from the intro. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to easily create this effect in Final Cut Pro.

The “Fast Zoom Effect” is not the official name of this effect, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s fast and it zooms, but, it’s a really easy effect to pull off and you can use images or footage, it doesn’t really matter. If your project is 24fps, you’ll need about 8 clips to make up a second of video so if you want the effect to last for 6 seconds, you need 48 clips.
