"Bastion" by Xender Game & R4NGER | Geometry Dash 2.2

Описание: I am going on vacation for a bit, so I have recorded and scheduled a bunch of older levels that I never got around to uploading, including some rated ones. "Bastion" by Xender Game and R4NGER is a level that got rated a bit too fast for me to check out back then, but I thought it'd be fun to upload and review it a little now. It's quite different from Xender Game's past work in that it's much more simple visually without much art, which he typically does for designs, backgrounds, and of course bossfights. The level still showcases his incredibly smooth animations, though, both for the movements of the structures and the effects in the background and foreground. I like how it picks up in visual detail from the start to the end as the song gets more intense, which adds to the music representation overall. In gameplay, the level remains relatively consistent, though, making it pretty enjoyable to play as a whole. The only little negative for me is that the level ends a bit too abruptly at the end, seen at 1:35, and I assume this is unfinished. I did hear about the drama recently, though, so it makes sense why the level is like this. Personally, I'm just glad to have been able to play another really nice level by Xender Game, and while I do hope we will see more of his stuff in Geometry Dash in the future, it's most important that he does something that makes him happy.
