Hi, in todays video I'm making pillows in 1:12 scale for the dollhouse. I am in the process of renovating my Classic World dollhouse and the attic will become a small cafe. I have created a sitting corner where the cushions will be placed to make the corner a bit cozy.
This is such an easy way to make pillows and the result is great. I sew by hand, but if you have a sewing machine, you'll be ready in no time. As I want all the pillows to be the same size, I have created a 4 x 4 cm foam board template. I fold the fabric around the template and then get exactly the same measurements for my pillows. I have filled the pillows with fiber filling. Some fill the pillows with sand or rice because it is easier to shape the pillow then. If you choose to fill the cushions with sand or rice, you will need to sew the back of the cushion.
